Turn Your World Upside Down; Friday 30th March 6:30-8:30pm
The aim of this workshop is to bring you a deeper understanding of the relevant anatomy and alignment principles of handstand & pinch mayurasna.
Bringing awareness to the five key focus points of an inversion, and through practical experience of various skills and drills, this workshop will help you to obtain a solid foundation from which to build your inversions practice, helping you to find balance upside down with ease.
This workshop is suitable for all levels.
Ninja Skills - Float & Fly; Saturday 31st March 10:30 - 12:30
Have you ever wondered just how some people seem to be able to glide effortlessly through their practise, floating around like a Ninja with ease and grace?
Well in this workshop we will delve into the technique and practises that it takes to find lightness and ease whilst moving through challenging and playful transitions such as finding ‘the float’ in vinyasa’s, floating back from and in to crow, handstand scissor kick transitions. There will be a targeted slow flow, some specific drills and technique work and then all will be pulled together to close with a power flow before your body happily dissolves in to savasana.
This workshop is open to all levels of practitioner, lots of options and support given.
Backbend Intelligence; Saturday 31st March 2-4pm
Expansion & Ease aren't always the first two words that come to mind when initially exploring backbends. It can often feel forced, stuck or just plain terrifying as we encourage ourselves and our hearts to be wide open.
This workshop will intelligently explore opening in to the front body and shoulder girdle in preparation to move with ease into deeper backbends such as King Pigeon, Camel, Wheel & drop backs. Expect to work hard, to unravel and to find space where perhaps you once felt stuck.

The Inversion Special; Sunday 1st April 10:30 - 12:30
The aim of this workshop is to explore the possibilities of control and creation of different shapes whilst inverted.
In order to achieve stable holds in postures like Hollowback, Mexicana or Scorpion - we first need to obtain the ability to maintain stability as we move different areas of our body without loosing balance (proprioception). Through deeper understanding of technique, anatomy and biomechanics, this workshop looks at a various ways to begin + deepen your journey towards more challenging aspects of an inversion practice, like dynamic movement sequences, and inverting your backbends.
This workshop is suitable for practitioners who are already exploring their inversions, however lots of options and support os given so you certainly don't need to be a pro!
